The Golden Rays drum and bugle corps was formed in 1965 as a feeder group for the IC Golden Rays. The corps entered the field of competition in 1967 and participated in both the CYO & Mayflower circuits over the years.
In 1976, the Junior Rays were converted to the Golden Rays.
