"The Guardsmen of Windsor, after a very successful 1976 season, which was climaxed by the winning of the Great Lakes Drum Corps Association Junior A Championship, are entering the 1977 season with the most exciting field show in the history of the corps.
   Garbed in their new blue on black uniforms the Guardsmen will march 100 members, 44 horns, 30 drums, 24 flags and 6 rifles.
   The Guardsmen of Windsor are governed by a Board of Directors and a Booster Club. Corps Director Don Merio, Assistant Corps Director Leon Smith, John Zavitz and Business Manager Guy Hamel.
    The Instructional Staff comprised of Head Instructor Mike West, Matt and Andy James and Val Bachelade. Horns and Drums, Ken Mazer, Kevin Woodford, John Brogan, M&M Scott Kulow, Dave "Fuzzy" Austin and Lynn Rostch, Rifles, Becky Hill. The corps will be led on the field by Drum Major Brian McGookie and Guard Seargant Dana Ditmars.
    The repertoire of the show consists of :Off the line Symphonic Metamorphesus" by Paul  Handement. Drum Solo is an exciting version of "Tequila" special arrangement by Ken Mazur.
      The Production number will bring back memories for those who remember the 40's "Valse Triste" by Gene Krupe. Concert brings us up to date with "Funeral For A Friend" by Elton John and off the field is "Evergreen" from "A Star Is Born".
