Drum Corps in Fulton, NY began in 1938 as the Fulton Drum and Bugle Corps.   After World War II, a fire at the Recreation Park destroyed all of its equipment and
the corps was disbanded in 1951.

The Fulton Gauchos, formed in 1960, was a senior marching and maneuvering corps based in Fulton, New York. They were self sponsored and affiliated with the Fulton American Legion Post 587.

The corps’ colors are red, black and white.

The Gauchos were consistent first and second prize winners in New York-Canadian Association contests, and sponsored an annual contest called the Upstate Review.

The Gauchos were active through at least 1966.
