The Brass Unlimited Senior Corps was formed in 1976 by Keith Markey and Dave Peterson in Belleville, Illinois. The membership was comprised of former members of the Belleville Black Knights, Millstadt Crusaders, American Woodman Cadets, Memorial Lancers and the Spirit of St. Louis.. Keith Markey was the brass arranger. The equipment, formerly owned by the Millstadt Crusaders, was purchased from Crain's Trio-Tupperware Sales in Belleville.Their uniform was white pants, blue jackets and red Aussie hats. Brass Unlimited was a parade corps and were active for only two years.
