The Hornets was organized by the well known "Giles Yellow Jackets D&B Corps." members at the St. Andrew's School in Chicago, Il.

This organization was administered and operated by the families of: Mr. Jessie Fowler CEO, Mrs. Porter manger, Mr. Kirk Stuart music/arranger also a "Giles Yellow Jackets", Larry Kasmarek triple crown winner Chicago Royal Airs drill, Ms. Leaks color guard.

The St. Andrew's Hornet's music was written and taught by Kirk Stuart (American jazz pianist, born April 13, 1934 in Charleston, West Virginia, died December 17, 1982.  Because of his arrangements, The Hornets had the professional
musician's sound flavor that put a tsunami of rich full tones in along with music score dynamics captivating the world of drum corps.
