The Crusader - Gladiators were formed as one unit in the winter of '70. Since then there has been a turn-over in
membership, and as a result, the Crusader - Gladiators marched many rookies in 1972. The spirit of the corps is tremendous and they are rapidly rebuilding for the '73 season. This corps will have a complete theme show with what they know will be a surprise. EDITOR"S NOTE: I am aware of this new program mentioned... believe me Midwest corps fans, you're in for a real treat.
The C/G's have made up in spirit what they lacked in size in 1972, and with this nucleus hope to have a larger, better-prepared corps and present a more crowd pleasing and appealing show come contest time 1973.
The Color Guard will be more active this season with hope of re-entering the Midwest Color Guard Circuit and making a run at the Circuit Championships.
The staff will consist of: Jim Stapleman and John Corbett on bugles; Mike Landry and Bob Matthe on drums; with Jerry Suminski and Bud Bakken doing the field show.
The C/G's being a fine marching unit with a pleasing sound look forward to a bigger and better year in 1973!"
