Awards included the 1961-63 Minnesota State American Legion titles, the 1961-63 Minnesota State VFW titles, and the 1961-63 Minneapolis Aquatennial title. They also appeared in the 1965 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade, the first non-California corps to do so.
One story relates that the corps had to borrow equipment from a junior corps at one competition because their trucks were too full of beer for the instruments to fit in. Another involves the frustration of an Army officer trying to inspect the feathery Indian costumes for uniformity.
The Indians were active through at least 1965.
