77th Skylarks

In the fall of 1966, the 77^th Skylarks drum and bugle corps was formed as a junior unit under the St. John’s Skylarks. Their uniform consisted of a satin shirt, black pants, a red satin cummerbund and a buccaneer style hat with red trim.

In 1967, 77th entered the field of competition in the Yankee circuit, returning in 1968. 

In the fall of 1968, the organization merged with the Holy Rosary Caballeros to form the Rhode Island Matadors “All Age” corps.
