CORPS Photos

The Northstars was a junior marching and maneuvering corps based in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario. The corps was formed in the fall of 1976 through a merger of the cross-town rivals Flying Dutchmen and the Dutch Boy Cadets.

The new corps competed in the DCI World Championships twice, finishing 28th and 32nd in 1977 and 1978 respectively.

Membership problems forced the Northstars to join forces with the senior Guelph Royalaires in 1979 to become the Northstar Royalaires. This combined corps competed for only one year.

The Northstar Youth Organization, formed in 1976 to support the corps, continues to support Dutch Boy into 2004.
