Harmony Senior Drum & Bugle Corps traces its origins back to St. Mary's Flute & Drum Band, organized August 6, 1886 by a group of young men of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Boonton, NJ. In 1988 due to declining membership, the all male corps became co-ed. Today's corps includes musicians performing with fifes, bells, trumpets, baritones, drums, cymbals, as well as a color guard.

In the mid/late 70's they marched a 60-80 as a street corps, performing at Yankee Stadium several times including for the playoffs and World Series. They did a few parades in the city. They were NJ state champs for a street corps several times.
