27th Lancers Cadets

The 27^th Lancers Cadets drum & bugle corps was formed in the fall of 1979 as a feeder corps for the 27^th Lancers.

The Lancers Cadets performed as a parade and exhibition unit in their first season before entering the field of competition as a member of the Eastern Massachusetts association from 1981 to 1985. In the first two years, the corps competed in the “Class C” division and were crowned the 1982 champions.

The following season, they moved up to the “Class B” division and in 1984, finished in 2nd place, dropping to 6^th position in 1985.

They disbanded in 1986.
