The Belles of St. John’s drum and bugle corps was an “All Girls” feeder corps for the St. John’s Girls of Brantford. Formed in the fall of 1974, they started actively in 1975 and became a competitive parade corps in the “Bantam Class” in 1976.

In 1977, the corps moved up to the “Class D” division, placing 2nd at the Canadian National championships, returning to the Nationals “Bantam Class” the following season, again placing 2nd.

In 1979, the Belles fused into the senior corps, leaving just one drum corps in the city of Brantford.
