The Chevaliers drum and bugle corps was founded in 1992 and were members of the FAMQ circuit.

The first seasons saw the corps evolve as a parade and exhibition unit, winning the 1993 FAMQ “Concert Class”. The following year, the Chevaliers entered the field of competition in the 1994 FAMQ “Class C” division, placing 4th at the championships.

The group was crowned the 1995 “Class B” champions, graduating to the “Division I” class in 1996, where they finished in 6th position. Over the next 3 years, they remained active within the community and surrounding areas, occasionally as a parade corps.

In 2000, the Chevaliers merged with the Ambassadeurs of Rimouski to form the “Chevaliers Ambassadeurs”.
