The Executives drum and bugle corps was formed in November of 1963 through a merger between the Blackhawks of Utica and the Crusaders of Prospect, under the sponsorship of the Chas. H. Abrean American Legion Post 625 of Utica.
In their inaugural season of competition, the corps placed 5th in both the 1964 New York Legion state and New York-Canadian championships before joining the Northeastern circuit, where they finished in 8th position in the 1965 finals. The following year saw the infusion of two parade corps, the Crimson Knights of Oneida & the Saints of Canastota, as the Executives finished 9th in the 1966 Northeastern circuit preliminaries.
They disbanded in 1967.
