The Éperviers drum & bugle corps was formed in 1975 and was also known as the Éperviers Optimiste with support from the Club Optimiste of Delson.
After their first two seasons as a parade and exhibition unit, the corps competed as members of the CCMQ and FAMQ “Class C” division, placing 2nd in the 1978 CCMQ championships and 3rd in the 1979 preliminary round. In the FAMQ circuit, the Delson group finished in 3rd position in 1979, 8th in 1980 and 12th in 1981. The corps also competed in the 1980 Canadian Nationals, placing 9th in the “Class C” contest.
They disbanded in 1982.
